Beauty of Darkness is inspired by the contrast between darkness and light. The deep black tones create depth and calm, while the gold details reflect light and bring warmth to the piece. It is a simple reminder that even during darker times, there is still beauty, strength, and light to be found.
I created this series after spending time by the Dominical River, where the flowing water, lush jungle, and dark night sky became a source of inspiration.
The collection explores the contrast between darkness and light, depth and reflection. Through black tones and touches of gold, these pieces capture the beauty, peace, and mystery I found in nature.
This specific piece has some beautiful gold patches in it that reflect the light, and in the bottom one, I kind of see a bird, a humming bird! Can you see it too?
